I am a User Experience Designer. You might think how a guy with no design experience in the past ended up being a user experience designer; I wonder that sometimes too. I had an unexpected education journey. When I was in 10th standard, I was going to pursue Commerce and be a Chartered Accountant, but ended up pursuing Science and chose Electronics as an elective. When I passed 12th I decided I would be an Electronics Engineer but ended up being a Mechanical Engineer. After graduation, I studied for CAT and CET (Entrance exams for MBA) and also IELTS and German A1 (exams required to study in Germany), but ended up doing post-graduation in Design and Innovation from ISDI school of design and innovation (now called Atlas university). During my post-graduation degree, I thought I would major in product design but ended up majoring in User Experience and User Interface design. After this long journey, I think I have reached my end destination, i.e. User Experience Designer All this educational experience helps me in creating experiences for the users.I like creating a memorable experience for the user using thorough user research and aesthetically pleasing interface designs, and that's exactly what I am doing at the company I am currently working in. Until now I have had the following job experiences.1. Worked on UX-driven UI design for SaaS product, specifically a Human Resource Management web application.2. In collaboration with my team, we revamped the website by doing user research and visual design which resulted in an increase of 20% in website traffic.3. Got an opportunity to design a web portal to plan and track the process of onboarding customers and enabling them to raise requests.
