As a Professional Development Specialist I was responsible for facilitating QM workshops and courses and assisting participants with learning to apply the QM Rubric. My position helped to inform on suggestions for improvements to current workshops and courses, as well as ideas for new training that could be provided to benefit QM partners.

As a Master Reviewer for QM I chaired reviews for universities and colleges throughout the United States. I also facilitated the Applying the QM Rubric workshop and the Peer Reviewer Certification course.

I assisted faculty in designing and redesigning blended, hybrid, and online courses, and in designing and planning for teaching and learning interactions. I provided training on integrating technology in the classroom, with a focus on leveraging tools, technology, and pedagogy to achieve a quality learning experience. Additionally, I advised on pedagogy, andragogy, and best practices for online course design and delivery. The department worked to ensure that all courses in all programs met the Quality Matters criteria.

I provided webinars and one-on-one training on integrating technology in the classroom, with a focus on leveraging tools, technology, and pedagogy to achieve a quality learning experience. Our department used the Quality Matters rubric as a basis for an online course approval process, and I worked with faculty providing assistance and techniques for ensuring that their courses met quality standards.

Texas Woman's University - I taught for the Department of English Speech and Foreign Languages, as well as the School of Library and Information Studies between 2006 and 2009. Courses taught included both face-to-face and online formats and the subjects were First Year Composition, Fiction, and Introduction to Studies in World Literature. I was assigned to refresh and teach the Advanced Cataloging course, as well as redesigning the Adult User Education course, which focused on implementing information literacy programs within various library settings. This course later went on to earn QM Certification.North Central Texas College - My assignments here were Freshman Grammar and Composition courses both in face-to-face and online format, and I taught here from 2005 through 2011.Collin College - My assignments here were courses in face-to-face, online, and hybrid format, and I taught Composition & Rhetoric I, Composition & Rhetoric II, and World Literature II, during 2011.University of Phoenix - My assignments here were teaching the first year Research Writing and Effective Essay Writing courses online between 2008 and 2011.Grayson Community College - My assignment here was teaching Composition I online during 2014.

As an Instructional designer for the R2G program I assisted with organizing and editing content from faculty experts for the course management system and proprietary content management system.

As Manager of Academic Quality, I managed the Quality Review process for over 40 subscribing partner institutions. In this position, I developed written and media content supporting the Quality Review project, acted as a point of contact for Academic Services Consultants and internal/external Quality Reviewers, monitored the queue of over 300 courses awaiting review and ensured that reviews were completed in a timely manner. Additionally, I worked to develop written and media content covering quality course elements to be shared with Academic Services Consultants and partner faculty, and wrote weekly blog posts on various topics, such as quality in the online course, useful tools and resources, best practices, and instructional design tips.

Department Of Health Studies, Denton Campus

I assisted in planning for future growth and success of all online programs and worked to ensure alignment both with external competencies and with program courses. Working with our chair, advisors, and curriculum committees, I assisted in coordinating the online undergraduate completion degree programs (BS and BAS) and the fully online MS degree program. A large part of my responsibility was managing the CMS (Blackboard 9.1) aspects of the undergraduate and graduate online degree programs, and I routinely oversaw preparation of the course shells each semester by faculty and staff. The Health Studies program was working toward QM Program certification for the online undergraduate completion degree programs, and I was responsible for overseeing and organizing this project. I also worked with faculty to improve teaching and learning in the online environment, managed textbook orders and changes for the various courses, and organized and facilitated online orientations for the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs using Wimba. In consultation with faculty I assisted and guided course design for all online classes utilizing sound pedagogical and instructional design techniques. Additionally, I assisted with regional and discipline specific accreditation of online programs, and worked on outreach projects for the department including a departmental blog.

Assisted faculty on the Denton and Dallas campuses in designing and redesigning online courses. In addition, the Instructional Design group offered training in both pedagogical and andragogical concerns and management techniques for course design. I was personally assigned to the College of Health Sciences and the Dallas campus, and worked closely with the Health Studies, Communication Sciences, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Dental Hygiene, Nutrition and Food Sciences, and Nursing groups.

In this position I was promoted from a Library Assistant III once I received my MLS. I cataloged library materials - both original cataloging and copy-cataloging - using OCLC and other formats, as needed, and supervised two library assistants and various student assistants in the department. Part of my job was also to maintain statistical data for the department, and to create documentation for policies and procedures. I worked on special projects as directed and served on library committees, including serving as the Chair and Co-Chair on the Library Strategic Planning Committee. Additionally, I worked regular shifts at the reference desk as additional support.
