 In 2008, I joined Altech Multimedia International (Pty) Limited, a large multinational electronics company that supplies electronic consumer goods to institutionalised customers in South Africa, Sub-Sahara Africa, and Internationally (Middle-East, Europe, and APAC / Australasia). I was appointed as Sales Operations Manager and I am responsible for budgeting, sales forecast, production (dealing with one local and three international manufacturing facilities), and all communications with customers (production scheduling, logistics, key component supply, commercial / invoicing).I manage a team that deals with all the administrative matters of Sales Operations, supplying ongoing product delivery information to all customers. Our customers include amongst others MultiChoice South Africa / MultiChoice Africa, YES Broadcasting in Israel, and OPTUS Telecommunications in Australia. We deal routinely with export procedures, INCOTERMS, duties, taxes, and clearance of goods.I am responsible for coordinating weekly sales meetings, sales and operations planning meetings (from sales perspective), demand reviews, and I am the custodian of the entire business sales budget and forecasting systems.During this time I was awarded sales Employee of the Year for 2013 and 2016.

South Africa

Venture Otto SA (Pty) Limited, a large automotive supplier with three plants in Pretoria, East London, and Durban, was one of my own auditing firms’ clients. Whilst they were a client, I started working with them as a consultant to establish their centralised automotive paint centre, dealing with customer/plant forecasts, purchasing from suppliers, and all inbound / outbound logistics. At the same time I also did the entire financial management of the business, implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 MRP System. I then joined them fulltime, and later moving to the Durban plant, I managed procurement, IT, HR, and Financial Management. Customers included BMW, Ford, Toyota, GM, Volkswagen, and Daimler Chrysler.
