We do this by promoting safe neighborhoods, healthy communities, and a thriving workforce, through programs and services that meet the needs of thousands of animals and their families.As planned giving officer, I oversee one-third of the organization's contributed revenue each year, administer estate gifts, identify prospective Legacy donors, and craft stewardship strategies to retain and engage existing members of the Legacy Society. I leverage my strategic, communicator, activator, and futuristic strengths by working alongside staff, stakeholders, and donors to envision - and create - the humane community we all long for and deserve.

Serving seniors, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers in a six-county region of southeast Michigan. Our work helps older adults live independently, safely, and with dignity. The Agency's revenue model is built primarily on federal and state budget allocations disbursed as part of the Older Americans Act. As leader of the Philanthropy team, I advanced internal systems and processes to improve dedicated individual and corporate relationship management. Though Agency leadership chose to move a different direction and discontinue individual fundraising efforts, I am grateful for the time and hands-on leadership experience I received while on the team.During my brief tenure, I:-activated social media fundraising tools-crafted and executed a comprehensive year-end fundraising campaign -trained a new fundraiser in industry best practices in Raiser’s Edge -reignited a dormant employee giving campaign and worked to build a collaborative culture of philanthropy across the agency.

I am immensely proud of the work I did to connect Racine's animal-loving donors with WHS's vision for a new, state-of-the-art shelter to meet the needs of the community.Managed a team of three Philanthropic Advisors (Major Gift Officers) located across the organizations' five-campus service areas. Maintained a portfolio of generous annual donors (4-, 5- and 6-figure givers) who steadily increased their contributions during my tenure with the organization. Maintained and cultivated legacy donor relationships with both living donors and planned gifts realized.

Skylight Opera Theatre strives to bring the full spectrum of musical theatre to a wide and diverse audience.
