I am an experienced, energetic and thoughtful educator with varied experiences both at the high school and undergraduate levels in a variety of advising, coaching and teaching roles. I enjoy working both with students and professional peers at the high school and undergraduate levels in academic advising and student life, and in roles with significant administrative responsibilities, co-curricular focus, and/or management of athletics teams and programs. In addition to classroom teaching and athletic management experience, I have long-term experience directly supervising up to 75 seasonal camp staff, some of whom are adult teaching professionals and others teens who are in their first paid jobs. In the camping industry, my main areas of specialization are aquatics, both swimming and boating, and the American Camp Association accreditation process. In all aspects of work, including written communication, I am attentive to detail, responsive, and customer-service oriented. Well-developed presentation skills and comfortable designing, planning and delivering a variety of programs and classes.
