As an Experienced Consultant in parent support and advocacy, I serve as the current Vice President of SPELD Victoria, an organisation committed to enhancing learning for Victorian students. I founded a prominent dyslexia parent community group in 2014 called Dyslexia Victoria Support. Leveraging my extensive background and training, I advocate for families to improve learning outcomes and facilitate knowledge exchange and coaching. My focus is on evidence-based practices and inclusion, to ensure informed decision-making and positive impacts. Additionally, my expertise as an Information Specialist/Records Manager, gained through professional roles in state government and corporate positions, and extensive library skills at the State Library of Victoria and in school libraries, equip me with a wealth of knowledge and research experience and skills in information and document management, particularly for parents and the management of complex student documentation.
