Develop and maintain positive working relationships with assigned department through interaction and periodic meetings, acting as a resource and liaison regarding a broad spectrum of recruitment, staffing, scheduling and retention issues.Develop and implement recruitment strategies for a broad range of positions.Effectively pre-screen resumes/applications and interview by phone or in person to evaluate prospective candidates.Negotiate salaries and incentives, arrange for relocation, and other conditions of employment within established HR parameters.Consult with HR Vice President and Compensation Analyst and recommend salary and incentive offers that are outside of established parameters when appropriate. This includes preparation of internal wage analysis.Conduct exit interviews with terminating/transferring employees, evaluating turnover and identifying interdepartmental and hospital-wide retention issues for review of the VP of Human Resources.Write advertisements for the internet, newsletter publications and other marketing campaigns as necessary.Responsible for the development of recruitment technology systems including applicant-tracking system. Manage upgrades, problem resolution and training to managers and fellow staff members as necessary.
