Events Manager, 9/2010 - 9/2014New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and SciencesASU West campus, Phoenix, AZ Managed and coordinated the New College Convocation ceremony. Focus on logistics, campus planning, student and Faculty RSVP, budgets and outside vendors used to facilitate the ceremony; paying attention to details and thoroughness for successful completion of the program. Coordinated all the New College Homecoming activities associated with the Block party at Old Main in Tempe. Worked with EOSS on campus Homecoming programming. Managed the New College ThinK series, Management of the weekly presentations from planning, recruitment, hosting and tracking of each weekly program. Partnered with the campus Artistic Director on campus-wide artistic presentations, assist with logistical planning and execution. Participated on the First-year reading committee, facilitated and managed the signature speaker in association with the first-year read presentation. Worked with the National Speakers Bureau regarding contracts, facilitated visit arrangements. Coordinated campus partnerships. Coordination of the New College Undergraduate Student Research and Creative Projects Expo, class projects and research by the New College students from classes to the students participating in the NCUIRE program. Facilitated and managed the New College Intranet event calendar and event planning pages. Updated events calendar, coordinated campus programming, Worked collaboratively as a consultant with Faculty, staff and students for event programming.
