I have wide-ranging experience of gathering and interpreting behavioural data within a conservation context. I regularly use, and train others to use, these approaches to address species integrity challenges arising from modern conservation programmes. I have worked with a range of conservation managers to identify and evaluate risk factors associated with the process of anthropogenically-centered species adaptation, and gained my PhD in this area. Recent work includes applying novel approaches for the study of adaptation to human-dominated environments in species as diverse as the Amur tiger and leopard, to snail species extinct in nature. I am highly involved with the growth and development of people that make a difference in the world. I also designed and manage Marwell's own MRes Wildlife Conservation, jointly delivered with University of Southampton.
