Controlled all dealer accounts on the West Coast and Northeast while working with the Rep groups in each area to ensure our customers are getting the service they need. Prepare and review requested quotes and receive and process customer purchase orders. It is the responsibility of the Account Manager to have the Knowledge of KPS Global’s design standards and engineering requirements to ensuring accurate quotes are provided. Once deliveries are scheduled, it is necessary to confirm the delivery to make sure there haven’t been any site delays. It is also important to follow up with the customer after delivery to guarantee customer satisfaction. As an Account Manager it is essential to take the lead in my market segment. I must help train and lead the other team members to be consistent with KPS Global standards and allow each member of the team to live up to their full potential.

Keep track of the status of company shipment pickups, deliveries and all movement in between. Build a relationship with our trucking agents and work with them to resolve issues any time they arise. Request and keep track of charges for all shipments. Submit and provide paperwork for all damaged freight claims. Answer the phones and direct them to the appropriate associate or answer any questions the caller may have.

Coordinate packaging that is on order and in the warehouse. Set up packaging transfers between plants. Work with vendors to arrange timely delivery of orders and manage any issues that might arise. Enter purchase requisitions for packaging orders in the AS400 system. Maintain spreadsheets of hot items and items in transition. Coordinate the transition of box changes. Use the AS400 system to determine the items that are at an order point.

Responsible for answering HR phones along with any questions potential and current employees might have. Conduct interviews. Verify past employment and education. Go through paperwork with new hires. Enter new applications, add new hires and terminate employees in the AS400 computer system. Process I-9s and file employee paperwork. Screen resumes for potential employees. Approve and post employee times to payroll. Create invoices and mail checks for Workplace Injury claims. Generate and keep spreadsheets about hiring and applicant trends. Represent the company at truck shows and job fairs.
