As a Chartered Exploration Geologist I have been employed by a number of mining and exploration companies in New Zealand, Peru, Argentina and Australia. I have been involved in project evaluation, geochemical and geophysical programs, drilling and pre-feasibility studies, with a focus on epithermal gold and copper porphyry environments and high grade gold vein deposits.I have acted as a consultant, overseeing field work and drilling projects, conducting geological mapping, core logging, sampling, reporting and providing recommendations for further work. During my time in New Zealand I also undertook statistical reporting, prepared health and safety documents and IT training for Holcim Cement,. Took a marketing / customer liaisons role for CRL Energy and acted as a Consultant Geologist and Academic Coordinator for ARANZ Geo, the developers of Leapfrog3D modelling software.Most recently having moved back to the UK, I have transitioned into the geo-environmental sector assisting with ground investigations ( logging, sampling to BS5930 and drill rig supervision etc) , Phase I geo-environmental reporting, preparing Phase II site investigation reports and compiling Coal Risk Assessments for Earth Environmental and Betts Geo. I have a passion for geology and travel, and I have always enjoyed an active and outdoor lifestyle including hiking and dressage.

This combined sales and customer relations role entailed; liaising with prospective customers, preparing sales documentation and assisting existing customers with renewal of software licences and support requests.Demonstrating the software, assisting with training courses and organising presentations at universities and conferences also came under my umbrella, as well as requesting feedback for the Academic website. The re-design of the academic website and uploading new articles to it was my responsibility, as was monthly reporting on sales figures and news within the academic sector.I left the position to return to the UK. -
