I offered support and coaching to customers on the Work Programme in employability skills, carried out inductions, assisted customers to identify and overcome barriers as well as motivate them to help themselves. I also designed and delivered employability training sessions to customers both ESA and JSA which moved them forward toward more effective job searching as well as hopefully gaining sustainable employment. All training and support was carried out both one to one or in group settings depending on the customers’ needs. I ensured customer records were updated with progression as well as new goals set with the customer to ensure their continued progression. In addition to this I also held weekly sessions assisting people with mental health issues to identify triggers and plan for ongoing recovery and wellness through WRAP Sessions.

I deliver Workskills and ESW qualifications to a range of learners including NEETs and 18 yrs upwards on the Engagement Gateway and Steps to Employment programmes as well as non accredited courses. I deliver and assess all work to include the embedding of ESW and ESDGC themes. Further to this, I assist the learners in building portfolios as well as mark and reference their work to put forward to awarding bodies for qualifications. I work out of multiple locations and work within a team of IQA’s Assessors and Administration staff to ensure all work is completed within tight deadlines and all targets are met.
