I am a passionate educator whose varied career paths have provided me with opportunities to develop a diverse skill set molding me into an exceptional leader, consultant and trainer. My draw to educating is founded in my strong desire to make a difference in the lives of students, our future leaders and educators, who support and shape young minds. I personally love observing the learning process and I am invigorated when others develop a new skill or strategy that can lead them to greater levels of success. As the owner and senior consultant of Cutting Edge Learning I have spent over 15 years collaborating with district administrators to determine staff needs based on data and designing and implementing dynamic professional development sessions that lead to improved instruction and student success. I am highly skilled in supervising, coaching and evaluating staff. I utilize my knowledge of situational leadership to meet the varied needs and levels of all with whom I work. Working as a school principal I became adept at juggling multiple tasks, developing and managing budgets, reviewing data and communicating with and engaging all stakeholders in school and organizational goals and vision. As a K-12 Director of Curriculum & Instruction I have led many projects and demonstrated my ability to not only see large picture ideas, but also how to break long range projects into manageable steps that ensure successful implementation and the attainment of goals. My focus to detail and ability to prioritize has allowed me to meet deadlines, and accomplish sophisticated goals and projects.I am driven to have a positive impact and am seeking positions that will both challenge me and allow me to use my many skills and talents. I enjoy working with and coaching adults, designing and implementing trainings and leading project teams. Finally, I am a life-long learner who embraces new situations, and am excited about continuing to grow and learn. I strongly believe I would be an asset to any organization. I have honed my skills as a presenter and can engage an audience as well as effectively teach new skills or information. My communication skills allow me to work with and lead diverse groups and my organizational skills ensure that projects will be completed on time and with an exceptional level of detail. Lastly, I am a compassionate and skilled coach with a passion for supporting others as they grow and develop.
