Full-time assistant in the 5th grade, class room management, event planning, data management and application, supports head teacher in facilitating subjects, such as ELA (English language arts), Literature, Social Studies and Religion.Independently creates curriculum and teaches the subjects of spelling (World Wise, Membean) and grammar (NoRedink), along with writing skills. My responsibilities include:- greeting parents, students and visitors at the front desk of St. Hilary's School. - performing administrative daily tasks pertaining to a school environment, such as student data filing, emergency preparedness, report card issuing, special events, etc.- responding to the needs and individual requests made by the principal, teachers, students and parents- attending to sick and injured students- filling in as a substitute teacher during a homeroom teacher's absence in K through 8th grade- filling in as a teacher's aide while aide is absent in grades K through 5- offer support in other departments, such as the school's parish, admissions, etc when need arises
