1- Performs professional variety of diagnostic images. 2- Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. 3- Ultrasound examinations performed include general, obstetrical, gynecological ,Abdomen , small parts and Vascular examinations and ultrasound guided procedures( Paracentesis , fine needle and Biopsy ) 3- Maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times. 4-Receives limited direction from the radiologist and general supervision from the Ultrasound Supervisor 5-Adhere to patient privacy and HIPAA requirements and demonstrates ethical and professional conduct. 6- Explains the exam process to patients and answers any questions or concerns. 7- Maintains clean and orderly work area and takes safety precautions during the handling of patients
