Responsible for recruitment, admission, and enrollment of approximately 7,500 academically talented and diverse freshman and transfer students. Served on executive leadership team making strategic data driven decisions for the Twin Cities as well as all system campuses. Led and managed a team of 80 staff, providing strategic direction and ensuring adherence to University policy while developing tools and opportunities to enhance culture and engagement through effective organizational redesign and succession planning. Leadership and strategic oversight of the undergraduate admissions and scholarship budgets.

Responsible for transfer and international admission, recruitment, residency, and special talents review. Second in command for the Office of Admissions, mentoring office leaders, reviewing, and updating office policies and procedures. Led and managed a team of 20 staff. Manage internal human resources, including aligning staffing needs to meet university objectives, develop action plans for employee engagement surveys, create onboarding mechanisms for new staff.Partner with talent unit within the Office of Human Resources to create and level job descriptions to attract a wide range of staff. Serve on the campus-wide Job Classification review team to review market data, compensation structures and make determination of levels and scope for hundreds of positions across campus. Successfully managed the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to procure a new application and direct marketing vendor from needs requirements to vendor selection, contract negotiations and Board of Regents approval.

Re-envisioned the transfer admissions unit from the point of application review through transfer credit, ensuring that students would achieve timely admission and transfer credit decisions. Collaborated with technology staff to develop and implement new application processing mechanisms to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Strategized and implemented new communications to prospective students and key stakeholders. Created and delivered training tools and manuals based on consultation and evaluation of processes to assist staff members through the changed processes
