The strategy ensured a safe implementation on budget and time. Coaching and mentoring on improving the current testing methodology used in the specific business area applying Industry Standard recognized methods. The new way of working improved quality and reduced time spend in testing.

I was involved in the initiation of a $100 million transformation programme to provide a consistently high level of customer service globally. My primary objective was to develop and deliver an assessment to the CFO for Client Services and Operations within Treasury Services highlighting current maturity in the End user verification Business function. Based on the findings propose a holistic macro level strategy for improvements that would support a successful implementation of the objective of the Transformation program mentioned above. Due to financial constraints the overall program was never completed, however the Strategy proposed would over 18 months yield an Estimated Tangible cost saving of 30% on the over IT spend though working smarter in an Agile approach resulting in reduced resource load and time to market.

Implementation of the assessment outcome would yield $ 1.5 mill in annual savings though higher process automation and handheld devices with real-time updates. For political reasons the assessment outcome was not implemented.

During the acquisition of Sampo Bank, Finland I was engaged to run 2 projects in the overall Migration programme.Build plan and program structure to support the building of a reconciliations structure in the Baltic region (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) through the local central banks. The migration of the Baltic affiliates was not completed due to legal constraints that would not allow for the affiliates to be merged with Danske Bank. Prepare and complete the sale of business area in Sampo Bank that focussed on the management of a trade union legacy system. This includes the technical separation of the platform from the Banking system.A buyer was found and the separation and sales completed successfully in time before the overall program migration. Additionally, I represented the Bank as a Member of FPS program board the Faster Payment Services phase 1 & 2

The strategy and framework would take advantage of a global infrastructure involving resources in Germany, US, India and china.The program was completed on time with the set-up above and a Risk based day1 business process end to end operational readiness verification approach.
