CurrentPreviously I was a Telehealth Clinical Technician which assisted veterans with video appointments, making sure equipment was working properly and troubleshooting when it was not. I provided Teledermatology services which included using a camera to take pictures of wounds or areas of concern and sending them off to be read by the dermatologist for treatment recommendations. I also provided Teleretinal imaging services to diabetics which monitor the retina and macula of the eyes to make sure there are no major changes occurring between regular eye exams.Currently I am working in mental health. Duties include rooming veterans for appointments, scheduling, giving injections, working with the mental health providers to provide assistance to those veterans that may be in crisis, providing information to veterans on all MH services available to them and contact information specific to their individual needs, able to adapt to rapidly changing situations, good communication between other staff, physicians, and the veterans, etc.
