As Marketing Director I provide the creative content as well as plan, execute, & analyze our marketing endeavors. I create branded creative content in different mediums such as video, photo, ad copy, and blog content as well as curate content from outside sources to meet internal and external deadlines. I utilize Adobe creative software as well as social manager applications such as Hootsuite and Agorapulse. Within these programs I respond to comments and messages from the Ward-Brodt Music Facebook, Instagram, You-Tube, and Twitter. Photography and videography are essential to my role. I also create displays and otherwise visually merchandise product within our store. Print advertisements, in-store signage, and website design are also within my duties. Through market research and communication with the Ward-Brodt Music team, I make decisions regarding our marketing budget. I reach out to and am the primary contact for outside marketing opportunities. Our company works with private organizations, public schools and school districts, and non-profit organizations. I plan, execute, & analyze marketing campaigns and events within the Asana application. I coordinate with special teams within our store to design convention booths as well as attend conventions representing Ward-Brodt Music. Other times these groups are dedicated to projects such as event planning such as our yearly "Beyond the Notes" band competition.Directed by upper management and as part of the leadership team, I have worked to plan and execute the new wardbrodt.com. I utilize graphic design to create content for the website as well as basic html and CSS for integrated design. I work closely with the V.P. of Operations to develop the procedures and task forces necessary for populating the website with product, train special teams, as well as participate in entering and uploading data via our POS system. I modify product in the AIMsi inventory system as well as via domain host platform as needed.

We work closely with road representatives in the school service department to provide rentals, instrument purchases, repairs, and music accessories to schools across central Wisconsin and northern Illinois while working in-store sales and assiting repair customers. Growing product knowledge of each family of musical instrument and visual merchandising is necessary for my role in-store. Placing orders, reading catalogs, calculating price over margin often is needed. Sales are finalized via email, phone, and remotely as well as in person.
