The Ohio Osteopathic Association's mission is to support Ohio’s osteopathic physicians in delivering principle centered medicine and achieving the quadruple aim through the practice of osteopathic medicine.

The Ohio Osteopathic Foundation (OOF) is the charitable arm of the Ohio Osteopathic Association (OOA), founded in 1963 to support osteopathic education and research in the state of Ohio. From June 1975 until April 1983, the OOF was funded by a mandatory assessment, unanimously approved by the OOA House of Delegates. The assessment was restricted to support the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OU-HCOM) and raised more than $1 million to support development of the college. Today, the OOF depends on tax-deductible contributions and grants from other foundations and governmental agencies to carry on its work.

Ohio ACOFP is affiliated with the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and Ohio Osteopathic Association. The organization is a partner with the Ohio Department of Health's Patient Centered Primary Care Collaborative and the Ohio Coalition of Primary Care Physicians.

To carry out my mandate, I continually strengthen the mission's reach and impact, promote increased collaboration with partners, and grow the funding base. Among my accomplishments, I have:➥ Executed two business model transitions: Moved organization from a management company to a stand alone office in 2011 and later transitioned to the business to a virtual model in 2022. ➥ Stabilized the member retention rate 5+ consecutive years.➥ Built a portfolio of 70 alumni dental chapters and 35 dental student chapters in ten countries; added 10 student and 3 alumni chapters during tenure.➥ Engaged students with annual and regional meetings involving dentists and dental students.➥ Established a residency network and mentorship program to enhance the membership’s value proposition.➥ Provided governance oversight to an 18-member international board of directors and nine committees. ➥ Managed more than 90 delegates at the annual convention.➥ Increased Board diversity through proactive recruitment efforts. ➥ Centralized accounting services to streamline monthly reconciliation and annual IRS 990 preparation; reduced accounting-related costs by 30%.➥ Currently leading the transition to a new CRM platform that is expected to reduce marketing expenses by 40%.➥ Planned and executed 8 annual meetings, each with 250-300 attendees.➥ Enhanced/diversified non-dues revenue.➥ Led a rebranding initiative including legal name change and logo design.➥ Administered $200K+ in annual funds from private donors and foundations.

As Senior Director of Membership, I was responsible for leading a suite of engagement initiatives to sustainably drive global membership growth. Some of my additional contributions include:➥ Planned, coordinated, and supported the transition from New York to Washington, D.C.; nurtured strategic relationships with regional executives following the organization’s relocation.➥ Led a full rebrand inclusive of a new website, logo, marketing collateral, annual report, and advocacy briefs. ➥ Developed a suite of member recruitment and retention programs; scaled the member retention rate by 12%; acquired a new database to supplement membership recruitment efforts.➥ Collaborated with a lobbying consultant to secure trade meetings between Board members and government officials.➥ Negotiated meetings with key stakeholders from the Department of Commerce, Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, and Consumer Product Safety Commission.➥ Co-led the development of a webinar series and secured high-profile industry and governmental speakers.➥ Established an annual West Coast meeting to attract industry leaders and U.S. government stakeholders.

I joined the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging in 2008, where I managed all aspects of member engagement/outreach for the 16,000-member, 501(c)(3) organization.Some of my key contributions include:➥ Routinely assessed member and prospect needs, market conditions, and the competitive landscape; worked closely with the Marketing Department to design new programs and services that meet those needs. ➥ Defined success metrics and KPIs to measure revenue growth, profitability, and product impact.➥ Re-energized the young physician committee, participated in regional chapter events and introduced new networking opportunities at the annual meeting.➥ Contributed to the marketing campaign; targeted 4K+ members and partners to promote the annual meeting.
