The Ohio Osteopathic Association (OOA) is a statewide nonprofit organization representing and advocating for licensed Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine (DOs) across Ohio.
According to the State Medical Board of Ohio, there are approximately 9,800 licensed DOs in the state, making up about 12% of all licensed physicians. DOs also comprise 26% of Ohio’s family physicians.
Founded in 1898, the OOA has served as a trusted voice for the osteopathic profession and a partner in advancing public health for over 125 years.
