As a freelance copywriter, I wrote for businesses and worked with creative teams to create marketing materials for a variety of industries. I specialized in energy efficiency and sustainability as well as health and wellness but wrote for a wide range of businesses spanning industries as diverse as the arts and the trades.

As the program director, I coordinated with library staff, speakers, and volunteers to develop adult programming consistent with the library’s mission; wrote, designed, and distributed all online and print program marketing collateral; developed organizational materials to streamline program development and planning activities; and introduced and supported program speakers.

As a freelance journalist, I wrote non-fiction articles for a variety of newspapers and magazines, covering topics as far-ranging as politics, healthy living habits, natural dyes and helicopters. The publications I wrote for include AHF (American Health & Fitness), Vermont Magazine, Upper Valley Life, and various local newspapers.

As an Assistant Editor, I expedited the passage of books from the copyediting stage through to publication. My responsibilities included choosing an interior design, writing cover copy, copyediting and proofreading, coordinating with other editors and formatters, and communicating with production.
