My mission is to help PPDR organizations to develop integrated mission critical broadband services. I have been happy to work over 40 years on communication and ICT in Maritime, Police and Ministry of the Interior's agencies. Also EU level co-operation and Commission funding programs are familiar to me. Now I am offering my services as a private consultant.

On H2020 funded BROADMAP project, leading the WP5 which produces the solutions for next generation PPDR mobile broadband solutions and roadmap for Pre Commercial Procurement on EU level. We managed to produce all our deliverables in time for next phase of the EU Commission program SEC-04 (see: https://ec.europa.eu/research/participants/portal/desktop/en/opportunities/h2020/topics/sec-04-drs-2017.html).

ENLETS supports front line policing and the fight against serious and organised crime by gathering user requirements, scanning and raising awareness of new technology and best practices, benchmarking and giving advice. It is active in joint initiatives, sharing information and networking between law enforcement agencies, industry and research organisations. It is a point of contact to access European law enforcement technical organisations

Head of the logistics and material service unit for Finnish Police Forces. Our main customers are National Police Board, National Police Units and Regional Police Units. We are providing our services also for Border Guard, Customs and other public security organisations.After Finnish Police reorganisation the functiions of PTC were merged to National Police Board and the bureau was closed down. New era of Finnish Police material support, logistics and R&D has begun!

My responsibilities are : Strategic Planning, Business Development and International Relations

As a CIO in Finnish Police Forces we builded up an IT service organization for Police Forces After two first years in Helsinki, the organization was moved to Rovaniemi in Lapland. We managed to move and start the operatons in Rovaniemi very succesfully. Also the amount of personnel increased from 50 to near 200. During 2002-2007 the organization diversified to offer services to other security organizations (e.g. Customs, Ministry of the Interior). After several organization changes, the unit continues as Police ICT Services (POL IT) and a part of State ICT services (VALTORI).
