I have gained a love for data and numbers and have been responsible for providing useful data for various departmental initiatives. I enjoy finding creative ways to make departmental procedures more efficient by doing things such as developing online surveys with Qualtrics software to replace paper processes and automating the process of emailing completed survey reports to the appropriate parties which drastically cut down on the time needed to process student requests for course changes. Supervise a team of eleven staff members who increased the number of recorded meetings by 30% from fall 2017 to fall 2018. Along with overseeing a 270-bed co-ed residence hall, I also created and maintained social media accounts for the department across multiple social media platforms to increase awareness of services provided and further engage with students. I also worked extensively with our departmental website and migrated departmental website to Drupal for a pilot project to be used as a model example for content layout and design for other departmental websites at the university.
