As the Project Manager of the NASA Student Launch project team, I oversee the management of four key subteams: Structures, Payload, Flight Systems, and Test Engineering. These subteams work together to meet the project's requirements, involving around 30-40 students collaborating throughout the year. This year's mission focuses on designing, building, and launching a STEMCRaFT capable of transmitting data to a NASA receiver. The team will follow NASA's technical report life cycle process, which includes stages such as Proposal, Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Flight Readiness Review (FRR), and Launch Readiness Review (LRR).

As the Director of Communications for The Buckeye Space Launch Initiative, I oversaw communications to ensure professional correspondence and coordinated meetings with administrative teams within the club. In this role, I also led a small team responsible for social media, merchandise, outreach, and newsletters.

As a Payloads member of the NASA Student Launch Team, I gained valuable hands-on experience using equipment in the workshop as well as researching and developing designs that satisfy requirements dealt by NASA. A core portion of my experience includes using MATLAB, SOLIDWORKS, and theory to develop simulations and/or analyze the capability of components necessary to complete the payload goal.During the NASA Student Launch 22' year, the team developed a camera system that could deploy via worm gear in order to take snapshots of the surrounding landing site, thus, determining the orientation, location, and other data metrics that would be important for landing on planetary systems.During the NASA Student Launch 23' year, the team was tasked to design a STEMnaut Atmosphere Independent Lander (SAIL). The SAIL is an in-air deployable payload capable of safely retaining and recovering a group of 4 STEMnauts (Astronauts) in a unique pre-determined orientation without the use of parachutes or streamers. The team built an auto-rotating helicopter in order to achieve this mission; I was in control of designing and developing the operations for landing.
