Im very proud to have achieved all 'Good' in April under the new framework in one of my nursing homes. Also to have maintained the Good rating last year in our residential home. Its so rewarding working with hardworking and passionate people caring for those in our homes. Im looking to be able to continue using my skills and passion for caring and supporting the more vulnerable in our society. To also mentor and share my skills and learn from others as every day is a school day!My crisis management skills means I can be very effective in turn around roles.My CV is long but all true! Im very proud of my achievements and still have much to contribute to the care sector.Ive enjoyed my time as the Operations Manager for Rosmead Heathcare for over 2 and a half years. Now looking for fresh challenges!Very happy to be given the oppertunity to work as an interim Operations Manager for The Fremantle Trust. Looking after five nursing homes and taking the Lead for Safeguarding for the company.February 2020 saw me working for The Fremantle Trust as a consultant. Unfortunately covid and pnuemonia meant unplanned time off but i was really supported by the company in getting back to work. in June 19 I went to Orchard Care Homes where i took over the management of a home for 4 months, seeing the new manager in. I was then asked to look after another home early December for almost 3 months and again saw a new manager in. I was really pleased to be working with Hayden Knight again and very happy to see him taking on the CEO role while i was there.After a good break i was really pleased to be working for Nazareth care for the next 3 months from 7 May 2019, crisis managing a home in Southend.After 9 months with Leonard Cheshire I took on a 3 month contract with Exemplar Healthcare as Regional Director. This finished on the 15th February 2019.I was very lucky to be with the Priory Group when diagnosed with breast cancer on my second day in on a new contract last year. I was with them for 6 months and had amazing support from them. Thanks to that support I was working on and off throughout treatment. Something I will never forget.I had a successful 16 months with New Century Care, turning around three homes to Good

    My contract was extended to April 2017. Since October last year I managed a 44 bed nursing home in Croyden and achieved a 'Good' rating for the home with CQC. I have spent the last seven months crisis managing a 33 bed nursing home deemed inadequate in September in Canterbury. We have had our inspection and achieved 3 goods and 2 requires improvement. When i started at the home it had 2 inadequate and 3 requires improvement. Im so pleased for the home.My contract with this company has been extended to 0ctober 7 2016. So far I have turned around two at risk home. The first home was a 28 bed residential home which was expected to get inadequate/requires improvement, I had a great team and was there 3 weeks when CQC came in and we got 5 Goods. The team did all I asked and worked really hard for this so it was well deserved especially in such a short time frame. The home has increased it occupancy and we have one more admission coming in to put us at 100%. Mandatory training has gone from 66% to 85% and continues to increase weekly even with the addition of new staff.The second home I was asked to crisis manage with another manager at risk at being closed down, I looked after training and rotas. In two months training went from 44% to 82% and agency use dropped from over 400 hours a week to under 150. We were recently inspected and all breaches were cleared and we got 3 good and 2 requires improvement. Again due to working with a great manager and team.I introduced a safeguarding tracker, an incidents and accidents tracker, supervision and appraisal matrix, dependency matrix, training programmes, MCA and DOLS audits and trackers. Telephone interviews as first stage recruitment, a new induction programme and rolled out the companies new induction care booklet, All these passed CQC visits with flying colours.I have also undertaken MCA assessments and best interests meetings and had CQC comment these have been some of the best they have seen.
