Currently working as a medical technician in a private ophthalmology practice under a pediatric ophthalmologist/adult strabismus specialist and a retina specialist.

Worked in the Nomura Lab in UC Berkeley department of Chemical Biology to research chemoproteomic approaches to target the "undruggable" proteome. Through doing so, our goal is to develop new therapeutic modalities for disease therapies and drug discovery for today's most prevalent diseases.

Taught, developed curriculum, and mentored undergraduate students for UC Berkeley's "A Primer into Molecular Biology" Decal. Our focus is to introduce undergraduates to the field of molecular biology research through weekly lectures focusing on common lab techniques and experiments with real hands-on demos. Our TAs also provided mentorship to help UG students navigate obtaining research opportunites at a large research institution such as UC Berkeley.

Worked in Lemaux Lab in UC Berkeley department of Plant and Microbial Biology to research gene functions in cereal crops like Sorghum bicolor in order to improve their performance and quality. Our focus is genetic crop improvement through genetic engineering and editing.

Managed and developed chemical inventory (chemical solutions, organic solvents, lab equipment, etc.) and performed analytical analysis for lab samples for undergraduate organic chemistry labs.

Worked as a group and private swim instructor at the YMCA to teach both children and adults everything from water acclimation to swim stroke techniques through personalized lessons.

Volunteered as a swim partner to help special needs children exercise, swim, and connect with others through a community based and accessibly adapted aquatics program.

Volunteered as a health educator to teach East Bay 1st and 2nd grade students lessons on nutrition and healthy eating habits. Our goal is to encourage kids to think about how their individual dietary choices impact themselves and the world around them.
