Training & Technical Manager
· Plan, develop and provide training and staff development programs using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on the job training, meetings, conferences and workshops.· Play a key role in ensuring ES is compliant with all legislative and statutory requirements for payroll, HR administration and Pensions. The role includes developing a full new starter training programme to ensure all staff are fully trained and operational within a 3 month period and able to effectively manage the NHS Payroll, using the systems and adhering to T&CS and legislation across the offices in Southampton & Sheffield. Member of the Continuous Improvement Board to ensure all company processes are delivering against company objectives, member of the Employee Engagement Network to consistently take staff ideas and feedback and work towards ensuring a high result on the Great Place to Work surveys and member of the company social committee, organising company events.Achievements• Creating, implementing and delivering successful client webinars on a selection of NHS payroll related subjects.• Creating and implementing a full new starter training function with assessment for an NHS shared Payroll service; a company of, at the time, 150 employees.• Gained CIPP Payroll Quality Partnership accreditation in 2013, 2015 and again in 2017 showing best practice in the training and development of payroll people.• Introduced a Company awards scheme to recognize and encourage great customer service.
