I worked in 2 teams within the Energy Service, Operations and Energy Infrastructure. I started in the Operations team managing a project offering energy efficiency funding to domestic properties in the private rental sector. This included upgrading boilers, cavity wall, external wall and insulation measures. I managed the operational process from opportunity to survey to installation. This involved producing quotes, updating CRM's, scheduling surveys and installation, managing a team of contractors and invoices to customers. Internally I managed forecasting, reports and multiple stakeholders (both internally and externally). Organisation, good record keeping, excellent communication skills and forward planning were all key skills within this role.My second role was in the Energy Infrastructure team managing a large Energy Centre construction project from stage 2 through to construction. My role co ordinated the M&E and civils/structural design through the planning process and involved managing multiple stakeholders. Stakeholder liaison was also key along with reporting, finance management and having the drive to move the project forward.
