I have many years’ experience working as a fundraiser specialising in Trusts and Company Giving. I have learnt to listen and learn and can be very persuasive if I need to be. I have learnt how to prioritise and manage my workload. My written English is of a very good standard and I double check everything. In my fundraising role I have worked with all staff - clinical, senior management team and trustees. I speak to corporate contacts, secretaries and trustees of charitable trusts, our supporters, bereaved families and our volunteers. I can work under pressure and enjoy being part of a team but can shut myself away if I have to finish something and can concentrate on the job in hand. I like to be busy and this year I have had to learn lots of new skills, which I have enjoyed and found a challenge.
