As the Accounting Manager for Amidon Contracting Solutions, Inc. wearing many hats, I am responsible for maintaining all the organization's Accounting, inclusive of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll full cycle processes.I accurately process vendor bills from receipt to cash disbursement. I create customer invoices in QuickBooks, where applicable inputting invoices electronically into the government’s finance system. My communication and good listening abilities greatly assist me in following up on payment of invoices that become overdue, as collection of payment is a critical function of this job.Acting in the VP of Finance capacity, I perform the weekly cash disbursement plan and monthly bank statement reconciliation. Additionally monitoring online cash account balance on a daily basis in comparison to G/L balance. I also process multi-state employee biweekly payroll along with calculating and remitting payroll taxes and other deductions (401k/child support/garnishments). I hold responsibility to manage the employee 401k plan accounts.I ensure all routine payments of loans, leases, taxes, etc. are paid on time when due, and I am responsible for the numerous insurance policy renewals, inclusive of Worker's Compensation, General Liability, Auto, Inland Marine, Owners, & Health Insurance.
