Working as part of a small national team to deliver on an ambitious L&D agenda over the next few years. Responsible for managing key projects and working with internal clients to support them in addressing their L&D priorities. Role involves workshop design, training & facilitation, team development, project & programme management and coaching.

Supported the learning and development provision as well as engagement initiatives at Centrepoint as part of a small, close-knit development team. As part of my role, I designed and delivered training from sessions on basic coaching skills to a Train The Trainer programme. I also managed the Learning & Development Co-ordinator in the team.

Responsible for all attraction and recruitment for the Leadership Development Programme and wider Teach First opportunities at the University of Bristol. This has involved working with a range of stakeholders at the University, the regular delivery of presentations and skills sessions to boost awareness amongst students. The role has involved line managing a team of student Brand Managers over two recruitment seasons and taking on additional responsibilities beyond my immediate role e.g. leading on one of two summer projects in the attraction team in August. I continue to regularly role model Learning and Development for the benefit of my immediate team and I've taken on a mentoring role for staff in other parts of the organisation.

Demonstrated my ability to work effectively in a team whilst regularly supporting on a range of learning & development programmes and projects. This included 360-degree feedback facilitation, one-to-one career coaching, mentoring employees in other departments, facilitating management workshops and action learning sets. As part of this role, I successfully designed, delivered and facilitated a new talent development pilot for promising individuals in the early stages of their careers. I led participants, managers and senior sponsors through the pilot programme with positive results. I project managed the attraction and recruitment phase for the Cancer Research UK Graduate Scheme; worked with a range of stakeholders to promote opportunities at selected universities and bring candidates through an efficient, well-organised assessment process. I attended external Graduate recruitment events throughout the year to maintain good knowledge of the UK Graduate market.I led on the day-to-day management of the Graduate scheme; organised the scheme induction period, co-ordinated Graduate placement rotations, supported and challenged placement managers to ensure the efficient running of the scheme.I line managed the L&D assistant whilst on a six month contract within the team - demonstrating an ability to successfully delegate, motivate and support during this time.

Gained tremendous exposure and honed my ability to think strategically whilst facilitating the HR Leadership team in evolving HR strategy and translating this into a business operating plan. It was part of my role to project manage the operating planning process; facilitating the completion of work across a broad range of stakeholders within the appropriate timeframes. I was also responsible for the provision of support to the Executive Director in the running and facilitating of the HR directorate; keeping her fully informed of current and future issues, appropriately briefed in advance of Leadership meetings and contributing to core strategic priorities including the content of a strategy paper for the board of trustees. As the Executive Project Manager, I worked with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure effective and impactful HR communications; identified and implemented an approach to reporting and tracking key HR projects to help enable this.

Increased responsibilities once obtaining a permanent role as Learning & Development Co-ordinator for the performance excellence programme, cultural initiatives and induction days. Single-handedly facilitated 7 performance-related workshops on 5 different topics aimed at everyone within the Fundraising Directorate. Since facilitated training for volunteers and being trained to facilitate Action Learning Sets as well as Intern CV writing skills training days.Recruited, delegated, motivated and supported interns during three internship intakes. Simultaneously managed the team's friday volunteer. Supported on a range of ad-hoc projects with a variety of departments from Supporter Services & Operations to Volunteer Fundraising. Led on a project centred on succession planning for front line event roles.

Full responsibility for the provision of all logistical and administrative support for the performance excellence programme. Arranging workshops for the entire directorate; communicating with partcipants, facilitators, all venues and actors. Facilitated a new starter induction day and maintained the continued delivery of two core recognition schemes within the directorate.

Supported on key activities within the team and observed the team's work including attending a team development session administered by the head of the departmentProvided efficient logistical delivery of the first set of performance-related workshops for the Heads and Managers of various departments within the FSM directorate.

Assisted in the operation of the wine tour on the busiest, most pressurised day of the week. Advised and served customers a range of champagnes, wines and spirits as they participated in the tour. Performed half an hour demonstrations on ‘how to taste wine’ to small crowds of up to 60 people.
