In my role as an Associate Senior Writing in the Strategic Writing Department, I write executive speeches for the university president and board chair, articles for Penn Parents and Inspiring Impact magazines, featured articles for a monthly digital newsletter, video scripts, and other materials to support the office of Development and Alumni Relations.Other responsibilities include editing and proofreading documents produced by our department; conducting extensive research and interviews for my own writing as well as collateral for partnering departments; working with sensitive information relating to University alumni, institutional goals, and strategic plans; and professionally representing the University in conversations with donors, volunteers, and other external audiences.
