• Provided consultancy for Catholic Relief Services who sought to catalyze private sector to provide affordable, accessible financial services to rural, low-income women, using its savings groups as a test market• Created primary research tools for, using a human-centered design approach, for both the supply and demand sides of digital savings and school fee payments, and conducted secondary research in to financial inclusion and current digital finance use• Interviewed over 100 demand side respondents including rural savings group members and schools• Conducted over 20 interviews with banks, mobile network operators, fin techs, and Ministerial officials• Analyzed research data to co-author a report on potential solutions for digitizing school fee payments in Zambia• Presented findings to over 30 high-level financial sector and Ministry of Finance representatives • Built and maintained client and stakeholder relationships, which were handed over to the client to move in to product development phase• Developed and held 2 project management learning sessions for BDSA employees and management team, and produced report on how BDSA could accelerate growth in to a reputable, successful consultancy.

• Overall responsibility for DFID funded, private sector development, volunteer programme across 2 cities mobilizing young people and SMES to create socio-economic development, including management of people and finances (approximately $100,000 of programme funding), and liaising with management team in the UK regarding operations• Led over 60 Zambian and British volunteers and team leaders, as well as 4 Zambian and British staff members• Provided pastoral and professional development guidance as well as technical support on enterprise analysis, recommendations, and implementation carried out by volunteers• Supported recruitment of over 25 SMEs, and recruited host homes for volunteer placements• Conducted various training sessions in project management, employability, and security and risk management.

• Voluntary 3-month consultancy placement with a pay-as-you-go solar company• Alongside Zambian and British counterparts, conducted enterprise analysis using a variety of tools (e.g. SWOT, Porter’s 5 Forces etc.) and provide recommendations on how to improve financial recording, sales and marketing, and general operations• Recommendations implemented included: overhaul of sales training modules; completion on brand guidelines; more efficient product packaging process• Delivered 3 presentations to approx. 30 peers and local business experts on analysis, recommendations, and implementation• Fundraised £800 to take part.

• Worked directly with Managing Partner and Management Board of a land and property consultancy to deliver a variety of projects• Project managed delivery of new company website as part of re-branding including: liaison with external developers; presenting updates to the board; internal focus groups across 7 offices and over 100 employees; arranging photoshoots for staff and local landscapes; copywriting• Oversaw preparation and delivery of attendance at agricultural shows• Supported in developing and designing the first leadership group and careers structure the company had put in place since its establishment over 30 years ago.
