An advisory partner specialising in business review and restructuring. The core of my role is a simple focus on protecting and improving value. Having been appointed head of restructuring and debt advisory across our Central and Midlands region in 2020, I work alongside our experienced local teams to provide debt, financing and restructuring solutions to company boards and their financial stakeholders to both protect and maximise value across a multitude of sectors and particularly, where access to capital and liquidity may be difficult. In addition to the above, I have worked with a significant number of Grant Thornton's Industrial, Automotive and Manufacturing clients (having been part of specialist teams since joining Grant Thornton over 20 years ago). I am hugely passionate about our work with the sector and delighted also to be heading up our national restructuring, forensics and insolvency support for businesses and stakeholders invested into the sector. Alongside my role as an advisory partner, I am a licenced insolvency practitioner and work directly with company directors and their senior teams helping them to navigate difficult situations, including access to emergency financing, investment, turnaround support and insolvency advice where needed.
