I am responsible for developing and maintaining the marketing strategies to meet our organizational objectives. I evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan changes as needed. I oversee all marketing, advertising, promotions, staff, suppliers and activities across our national and international brands.

This was an entry level position on the shop floor. My duties were to assist the manager with branch marketing, exhibitions, company presentations, sales, CRM and basic administration.

I worked as a student at a Sunglass Zone in Liberty Midlands Mall so retail was my first taste of marketing and helped develop my understanding of the consumer. I was promoted to be a weekend supervisor after a year and my duties grew to include managing the store and students, banking, invoicing and assisting customers.Moffatt were very customer care focused. We won numerous customer care awards and even won overall customer care of the year in 2006, an award run by the PCB, Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Business. It was a huge achievement and one I am proud to have been apart of.
