Community Resource Navigator, responsibilities include relationship management with hospital systems, CPS3 enrollment sites, working within a thirteen county territory to locate and secure patient resources and specific program initiation and recruitment. Program development and implementation, volunteer recruitment and marketing to social service organizations as well as medical facilities. Some grant writing for local resources. As Patient Navigator. Responsibilities: work with cancer patients and their families directing them to resources, helping to navigate their cancer journey. This includes helping them to understand insurance, Medicare and/or Medicaid programs, to include local and national programs to assist them with their needs. Duties also include community outreach, developing and maintaining relationships with local, state and federal agencies to assist with programming including public speaking and presentation of ACS programs and services. Comply with all HIPPA guidelines. Research and maintain resource database. Income Development Coordinator, with a proven track record in all aspects of event planning and fundraising. Responsibilities including plan, implement and evaluate event-specific fund raising activities within territory. Achieve pre-negotiated income development results. Recruit, train, develop and coordinate volunteers. Organize and facilitate training sessions for staff and volunteers.Provide staff management and support for associate volunteer committees and groups. Identify and help secure local sponsorship for events. Responsible for accurate and timely reporting of event status, revenue projections and other data collection for event history. Responsible for major donor identification, prospecting and cultivation. As project manager, to work within budgetary guidelines. Implementation of new events as appropriate. Communications between volunteers andstaff to maintain, grow and build relationships within the community.
