As part of this role with AT, I will be responsible for internal engagement to proactively engage with the team across AT to ensure climate change is incorporated into decisions on projects, plans, and strategies.

As part of my role as a technical account manager, I support organisation and companies from a wide range of industries to develop development GHG inventories, documentation and preparing for audits to meet ISO 14064-1 reporting requirements, reviewing emissions sources, emission factor selection, GHG quantification methodology, advice on the collection of relevant data to assess and monitor key environmental impacts, setting ambitious target, selecting appropriate methodology and developing application material for the Science Based Targets initiative.Part of my role also involved managing the carbon credits supply and demand and applying our sourcing policy to the projects that we decided to support. I thrive the most when required to engage and presenting concise and coherent information to assist organisations in coming out with an effective outcome. This was a regular part of my role as I successfully delivered webinars or face-to-face workshop on technical aspects of carbon accounting and emission target setting to a range of networks, boards, leadership teams and employees. Finally a core part of my responsibilities is also to lead induction and addition internal technical training ensuring consistency across the team and developing resources.

Responsible for the implementation of the CONNECT program, Langham's sustainability program that was introduced in 2011 to assist hotels to find a balance between continuous development, colleagues, neighbours and minimising our impact on the environment. The program has identified four priorities: Governance, Environment, Community and Colleague.As a coordinator I am responsible for ensuring all the annual objectives are met and The Langham Auckland gives back to the local community while limiting its impact on the environment. We manage our environmental impacts through participation in the EarthCheck program which assist us with monitoring our performance and implementing an environmental management system to minimise potential risks.
