A collaborative approach to promote the company’s services to large corporate organisations and government departments, globally. The position requires networking at C-Suite level and takes a consultative approach to understand customer needs and uncover opportunities for the company’s solutions and services. Being a “hand- on” environment, the role also requires support with sourcing consultants for projects, developing bespoke solutions which exceed customer expectations and working in the field when required.

My focus in this position was to manage the challenging task of implementing a change management program to Enlighten’s first retail client – Best and Less. The program involved the facilitation and training of a software program to over 200 stores national wide. The role required extensive travel throughout Australia and reporting to all levels of management within Best and Less.Ongoing partnering relationship with the Head of Retail Operations to ensure sustainability of the program.

Creation and on-going development of a small business. XMAC PEOPLE Pty Ltd provides bar contractors to outdoor music festivals throughout Australia. Based on the Gold Coast, the business started with local events, with an ongoing relationship maintained with Cross Promotions.

Following the completion of construction, self-employed as Operations Manager of Maldives Resort. This entailed daily running of the hotel including Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, Restaurant Supervision, maintaining financial records and reporting to investors.

Working alongside the Developer of Maldives Resort, Main Beach assisted in the design and construction of the development from concept stage through to completed product. The project was 86 x 1 bedroom apartments designed for the investment market.

Conduct research after the successful application of a community-based grant to research strategies to reduce alcohol-related violence in the Surfers Paradise precinct. In order to facilitate this research, the establishment of a committee of key stakeholders was required including Police, Dept Health, GC Young Services, GC Women’s Services, GCCC, Surfers Paradise Chamber of Commerce, Liquor Licensing Commission, Surfers Paradise licensees and businesses

This role was funded by the 12 late licensees in Surfers Paradise to assist them in State Government lobbying for extended trading hours and the facilitation of involving the whole community in order to address the issue of Public Intoxication in the local area.
