- Plan and organize major engineering tasks to be performed by the engineering team or contractors.- Optimization of the engineering stores in order to reduce costs and unexpected downtime.- Develop SSOW and complete Risk Assessments directly related with engineering tasks.- Motivate and develop engineering team to ensure PPM is completed whilst ensuring all H&S guidelines are followed.- Supervision of CMMS (Pirana). First contact for audit and inspection purposes.- Working closely with the site engineering manager to ensure all targets are met within budget.- Involvement in several continuous improvement projects throughout the business.

- Carry out mechanical and electrical upgrades throughout the factory, such as installation and start-up of inverters, wiring new electrical panels, recondition of electrical panels according to the BS 7671:2008.- Dismantle and overhaul of a wide range of machinery (tray sealing machines, flow wrappers, labelers, weighing machines, metal detectors, pumping systems, steam operated equipment, motor gearboxes and poultry process machinery).- Reactive maintenance, electrical fault finding and PPM of a high speed production line.- 24h call out cover.

- Planning and execution of preventive and reactive maintenance of CNC equipment: Milling machines, conventional and CNC Lathe, Eletroerosion machines and Grinding machines. (Heidenhain controller).- Creation of a maintenance database.- Construction of transfer systems for stamping tools.- Instrumentation of stamping tools.- Reporting to the Production Manager.

- Fault finding both electrically and mechanically. Reading of technical diagrams.- Execute preventive and reactive maintenance to a range of production equipment including mechanical presses, hydraulic presses, robots (ABB), automated assembly equipment, AC/DC drives, 3 phase equipment, motors, gearboxes, pumps and Conveyor systems.- working on a 3 shift basis from 08:00 -16:00, 16:00 -00:00, 00:00 - 08:00 (overtime work whenever necessary).
