For more than two decades, Hellen Davis has been an entrepreneur. Hellen has a successful background in insurance sales and running an import/export company. She used her skills and experience to begin consulting in 1989 by creating Indaba Global. As her book of business grew, her clients wanted her to turn her material into eLearning, so they could share it with more people. Indaba started out by creating training and development eLearning courses on Executive Development, Sales Training, and Personal Development. Hellen used a blending learning approach by using these eLearning courses with her live training. She also used various behavior assessments with her clients. Hellen was not satisfied with what was available in the marketplace with generic DISC assessments. So in 2010, Indaba created DISCflex.DISCflex is Indaba’s own DISC Assessment. DISCflex provides personalized coaching information to the user based on the user’s individual DISC Factor scores. Indaba also built a DISC eLearning Course to be able to help people in dialing up and down their behavioral factors. Teachers and Professors use DISC in the Classroom to help their students improve their soft skills. Many businesses and coaches use the DISC Assessment tool for personal and professional development workshops and classes. The program is now the staple product Indaba offers for training and development. Over the years Indaba has worked with executives and leaders from small mom and pop business owners to large Fortune 100 corporations. She is respected for her extensive knowledge leadership and sales development. Hellen has also written several books including the bestseller 21 Laws of Influence. She resides in St. Petersburg Florida but travels extensively all over the world. Hellen has two wonderful children, Justin and Jazmin, and enjoys spending time with her family, reading voraciously, writing, cooking, and is accomplished in creating stained glass.
