In July of 2017, Bremer Bank made the commitment to its customers by creating the Strategy Team. This team is dedicated to developing and implementing organizational business strategy. Strategy is a critical function for us to anticipate and respond to evolving customer preferences and technology, continuing our ability to serve our customers and form new relationships.In that breadth, I have been implementing Bremer’s Municipal Strategies throughout the entire organizational footprint since that time. The Municipal client has highly specialized financial needs, and Bremer really takes a consultative approach and holistic view when working with Municipalities. We have been able to grow in this space by working closely with our regional business leaders and developing true partnerships that benefit a Municipal client’s needs. Incorporating new technology preferences to create efficiencies and alleviate pain points has been top of mind when communicating and developing our relationships.Our consistent delivery and Bremer Bank’s initiative through the strength of “One Bremer,” has really driven success in our markets. Bremer is committed to communities and our Municipal Strategy plays a crucial role in that initiative.I am also a current member of the MN GFOA, WI GFOA and national GFOA organizations.
