Enabling Varian sites to participate in the EUROCAT initiative.

Trained clients on how to use a reporting tool designed by Varian. I was also responsible for designing and implementing customizations to the reporting tool to allow clients to receive maximum value from the tool.Designed and developed a data migration tool that would merge two databases of similar structure together while maintaining referential integrity and following established business rules. I became the subject matter expert, leading a development team in India that was responsible for tool enhancement.

I was responsible for training staff on the process to convert data from other products to our software. Managed small development team responsible for migration tool enhancements.Coordinated conversions of data from various systems to a format usable by our system.

Designed and developed a tool to extract data from other radiation oncology patient management systems. The resulting data was converted to a format that was then loaded into our database. This allowed healthcare facilities using other software to convert to our system with minimal loss of data.Responsible for coordinating with sites undergoing the conversion process, so that the data would be converted with minimal disruption to the end user and the patient.

Small business software consultation.

Designed software that would function as a wizard, to assist the clients in configuring our software themselves instead of requiring us to send a deployment team.Was part of a team that developed clinical trials management software.Led a remote software deployment initiative, which allowed us to set up a client site remotely instead of having to send a deployment team onsite.

Worked with the implementation team to plan and implement IT infrastructure enhancements for new site deployments. Responsible for analyzing current site capabilities, purchasing and deploying all required software and hardware within budgetary constraints. Site size ranged from a 5 PC deployment to 10 site distributed multi-point network.Worked with our Integration Analyst team. I was responsible for determining data requirements for information communication between data entities, mapping out the data flow, and implementing HL7 interfaces to enable information flow between systems.

Worked with the Senior Database Administrator. Tasks included database server installation, performance troubleshooting, automating maintenance procedures, and automating maintenance monitoring procedures.

Worked on the Quality Assurance Team.Assisted the IT Manager with hardware and software deployment.Built a tool to assist with client database software version upgrades.Built installation program.Became a part of the Implementation Team, which was responsible for going to client sites to install and train our clients on software and hardware.
