At Alchemist and Woodbury my goal is to design creative social experiences and build a business that is both sustainable and constantly evolving. With Alchemist, I was able to take this idea from concept to reality in the span of 4 months, while accruing zero debt and achieving immediate profitability. As a hands on owner, I oversaw all aspects of operations including on-boarding new employees, purchasing, invoicing, vendor management, payroll, inventory management, website design, and marketing. I lead a hospitality team of 18 employees with a focus on retention and working towards a common goal of providing the best nightlife experience to our customers and clients. This resulted in increasing revenues year after year while maintaining a 24% profit margin. During COVID I created SFCOCKTAILS.COM allowing customers to stay connected by sending cocktails to friends and family and launching our outdoor dining program.

The adjoining space next to Alchemist Bar & Lounge was acquired in 2014. My concept for this space was to create a neighborhood gastropub with a food and beverage program that complimented Alchemist. A rustic lodge style remodel was completed within 5 weeks. Woodbury achieved profitability within 2 months of opening. I continue to oversea operations at Woodbury as we pivot to outdoor dining as well as take out and delivery.

At Hitplay I helped scale the company from 30,000 users to 170,000 users by expanding our premium content library and adding value for our users through partnerships and licensing deals. By spearheading the creation of the premium channel upgrade program, I helped increase company revenue by 30%. To meet demand for content I helped Increase content processing productivity by 70% through collaboration with engineering to re-design our content management system and video encoding processes. Working closely with studio partners, I licensed over 2500 movies per year, while reducing per title licensing costs by 20% year over year. I oversaw all aspects of content operations including content selection, contract negotiation, content delivery, video encoding, post processing, QA, release schedules, and payments.

Produced TV, Radio, Print, Promotion items for clients such as: Wells Fargo Bank, Cathay Pacifc Airways, Albertsons, Southwest Airlines, and the American Cancer Society.

Managed and strategically coordinated marketing and promotions for arists signed to the label such as, Pure Harmony, Noly, Happy Hour, GYS, and Legaci.

Digital Media Intern. Working on developing a new archiving process for tangible media content. Digitized older commercial video from VHS to DVD.
