The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Foundation is the fundraising arm of the hospital, and is responsible for both the distribution of donated funds, and the management of essential donor relationships. Since joining the team, I have been instrumental in developing new digital initiates for the RCH Foundation, including new strategies for donor acquisition and engagement, and the successful delivery of digital fundraising campaigns. Most recently I have played an active role in the management of the communications team, including working across departments to ensure the timely management and delivery of projects. Through working in collaboration with the RCH’s communications team, I have taken the lead on the management of a major media partner as part of the Good Friday Appeal, working across the hospital to deliver ground-breaking stories of medical excellence.

Typo, Australia’s most loved stationery brand, is part of the Cotton On Group. In my position as Social Media and Digital Communications Specialist, I managed the development and execution of marketing content across all digital platforms globally. This included regional specific websites, newsletters and social media profiles. As part of my role I worked across multiple teams at the brand to develop engaging content, manage diverse communities and deliver it all with the iconic Typo Twist.

As Social Media Advisor with the University of Melbourne I sat within the External Relations Media team, managing the development and distribution of content across 10 channels, as well as working across reputation and crisis communications, and providing training and advice to all departments within the University. Achievements include:• Speaking roles at the Social Media in Tertiary Education Conference (2016) and Digital Engagement in VET Conference (2015)• Establishment of a new reporting model to accurately and effective capture the monthly social media activity • Establishment of University wide Social Media professionals communication channels including monthly social learning sessions• Management of the internship program, supervising 4 staff members• Development of effective campaigns for Open Day• Production of a department wide quarterly report• Establishment of Social Media Guidelines for the University.• Launch of the new branding campaign and digital publishing platform Pursuit • Providing training and support across all channels for UoM staff

In my role with Emma Telfer & Associates, I managed the digital communications of event to both an local and national audience. My position included the management of different stakeholders, copywriting and editing, newsletter development and the establishment and management of the Social Media Team.
