During the internship, I actively participated in a variety of activities that significantly enhanced my technical skills and knowledge. I sharpened my Python problem-solving abilities by taking on challenges on HackerRank, which not only honed my logical thinking but also improved my coding proficiency. Moreover, I gained hands-on experience in creating robust and user-friendly web applications by developing applications using FLASK and Streamlit.Much of my learning journey involved diving deep into Statistics and Probability, foundational to understanding and implementing Machine Learning algorithms. I explored various ML algorithms and focused on hyperparameter tuning to optimize model performance. My learning of Experiment Tracking and Model Management using MLflow complemented this, enabling me to systematically manage and track machine learning experiments.I also delved into different vectorization techniques, including BERT (Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers), which are crucial for Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks. This helped me understand the intricacies of processing and analyzing textual data effectively.Workflow orchestration was another critical area of my internship, where I learned to streamline and manage data workflows using Prefect. This knowledge is essential for ensuring efficient and reliable data processing pipelines.Moreover, I gained practical experience in cloud deployment, specifically using Heroku and GitHub. This involved deploying machine learning models and web applications to the cloud, ensuring they are accessible and scalable.Overall, this internship has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of data science and machine learning, from theoretical concepts to practical implementation. The mentorship and support from the team at Innomatics Research Labs were instrumental in my growth and development, and I am grateful for this incredible opportunity.
