Balancing resources to deliver large scale consulting projects and win new software deals. The role had P&L, sales, marketing, team building, direct major account/customer management, contract negotiation and service level management responsibilities. The market for development tools was pivoting away from traditional methodologies to new low code approaches, and away from on premise to SaaS propositions. The fun of the challenge was re-creating the sales propositions, and working with engineering to evolve the product and propositions to reflect new market opportunity. Developing a sales and marketing strategy, building a cost effective consulting team to ensure customer success managing strong overall company margins were key achievements.
