Key responsibilities include ELT assurance leading on:• the Council’s Enterprise Architecture; • the development of the Council’s ICT Strategy; • the development of new services; •. ICT business continuity and resilience planning;• continuous service improvement activities; Working across the organisation, the team plays a critical part in the Council’s work to digitally transform service delivery. Ultimately, delivering a cost effective and sustainable delivery model for the Council by identifying people, process, data, applications and technology to provide solutions which deliver the required business outcomes.

Senior Manager responsible for the Council's ICT Solutions team which includes key technical and business functions: Solutions Architecture, Technical Design, Business Analysis, Web/online services and LOB Application portfolio.

Responsible for the ICT business engagement function including defining and developing the Council ICT Strategy

Technical authority for the Council and responsible for ensuring technology can be used to deliver expected outcomes and generate cost savings to the organisation, working across the organisation to deliver corporate improvement. Responsible for designing and implementing a technical design and best practice function across the organisation. Working with external organisations, the Scottish government and internal customers representing the organisation.
