FO Investigator & RepresentativeAs Manufacturing Engineer, I am responsible for the industrialization of new products from customer requirements to manufacturing to a deliverable product. This typically entails providing technical support for the Production - and Project teams, improving current production systems and methods, effectively managing production engineering data, working with the latest Airbus Process Specification’s (AIPS) and Airbus Process Instructions (AIPI) to ensure product compliance, analysing customer requirements and deliverable specifications, implementing workable quality systems, working closely with Production Artisans, - Facility Managers, Quality Inspectors, Quality Assurance Representatives, and Project Managers to ensure good quality products are manufactured and training and mentoring new Manufacturing Engineers on departmental processes and procedures by means of on-the-job training. As Process Engineer, I am responsible for the implementation and compliance with the Airbus and Boeing process specifications for the preparation, assembly, testing, and protection of electrical connections. In order to implement a new specification or ensure compliance I would unpack each specification by means of a GAP Analysis, to identify process and tooling requirements as well as Key Process Parameters (KPP's) and Key Characteristics (KC's).As FO (Foreign Object) Investigator and Representative, I am part of the team that ensure the successful implementation and management of the FO prevention procedure within the company's organizational structure. This entails aiding the rest of the organization to implement good FO practices throughout the full life cycle of all products. In the event of a foreign object debris/damage incident occurrence, I assist in the investigation and root cause analysis and aid with the implementation of preventative measures.
