The main task was to develop business and gain market share and awareness.We opened a subsidiary in Helsingborg and implemented new business fields (tools and workshop equipment), organized sales organization, re-organized personnel/responsibilities, outsourced services, optimized stocks and delivery system from our headquarter in Germany.Acquired a small competitor with 4 branches and a turnover of approx. 20 MSEK / 2 MEUR in the southern region of Sweden. In corporation with the finance department in our HQ in Germany, I accounted for due diligence of the company.The merger of company cultures and the utilization of synergies were top priorities. After re-organisations and optimizing of synergies we were able to reduce costs.A local Managing Director was introduced to secure further development of the business.Due to the initiatives implemented the business has more than doubled and have today an important role in the Swedish spare-part aftermarket.
